Not Every Flower Blooms in Spring (2025)
Instrumentation: 1.1.1.1 - 2.0.0.0. - str.
Duration: 10 minutes
Program Note:
In nature, each flower has its own time to bloom—some in the warmth of spring, others in the quiet resilience of winter. Yet, every flower endures its own season of growth, weathering challenges and waiting patiently until it gently unfolds its petals in full glory. And each one is uniquely beautiful.
Similarly, each person’s journey unfolds at a different pace. Some find their path early, while others blossom later in life. Not Every Flower Blooms in Spring is a reflection on the journey we each take toward fulfilling our dreams and passions. It offers a message of hope and encouragement to those who feel left behind or discouraged: Your time will come.
This message is especially important to musicians, including myself, as our paths are often filled with uncertainty, self-doubt, and countless struggles. Yet, it is through perseverance and a steadfast belief in our passion that we begin to unfurl our petals. Therefore, Not Every Flower Blooms in Spring serves as a reminder to embrace each individual efflorescence with patience and trust, knowing that we too will bloom in our destined season, radiating our fragrance and beauty to the world.
